About MPC Plumbing & Heating

Hello, my name is Marcus. I have been working as a self-employed plumber since finishing my apprenticeship back in the late 1980s. After working as a sole trader for a number of years, I formed MPC Plumbing & Heating in 2007, building it into a small, family-run business that prides itself on quality workmanship and honest, reliable service.

I particularly enjoy working with heating systems — carrying out repairs, finding faults, upgrading existing systems and installing new boilers. There is real satisfaction in diagnosing a tricky problem and getting a home warm again. Over the years, I have developed a methodical approach to fault finding that saves my customers time and money.

As well as oil-fired boilers, I also carry out gas boiler servicing and landlord gas safety checks. I work across all three major heating fuels: oil, domestic gas and LPG. This versatility is especially valuable in our rural service area, where many properties rely on oil or LPG rather than mains gas.

Every job I take on — whether it is a small plumbing repair or a full heating system installation — receives the same level of care and attention. I take pride in leaving every property clean, tidy and with everything working as it should.
